One of the groups that we highlight is WPU Cycling which Loam Coffee founder Sean Benesh started. WPU Cycling is a brand new intercollegiate club sport launching in Portland, Oregon, at Warner Pacific University (where Sean also teaches). Warner Pacific is a small university dedicated to serving minority populations. Over 60% of the student body is BIPOC. The dream has been to launch a mountain bike club and eventually a race team.
As we all know, getting into mountain biking is expensive. We are dedicating $2 from every purchase of this new blend to go directly to WPU Cycling to help them purchase a fleet of bikes and other essentials like helmets, gloves, knee pads, and more.
