As a company we change. We learn, adapt, and figure things out on the fly as we go. We've added more teams, riders, and races that we sponsor. We aim to get into even more bike shops and events this year as we grow our partnerships and fan base. Change is good. Progression is even better.
Last week I ran into one of our loyal customers. He periodically orders 1-2 bags at a time and has done so over the past year. In the course of our conversation he paused and said, "My favorite cup of Loam Coffee ever was the Boondocker I had last May." Last May? I thought. What was different about the Boondocker back then versus the Boondocker now? Everything.
Coffee is meant to be fun. One of the drums that we constantly beat is the need to eschew or put off all pretenses and coffee snobbery. Besides, when you really think about it ... the coffee "bean" is really a seed and all we're doing is roasting it up, grinding it, pouring hot water over it, and then drinking this brown water that we call coffee. (ok, it's a bit more complicated than that)
